About the Challenge
An initiative under Heritage of Honour, designed to promote cultural preservation and revive indigenous storytelling. Selected entries may be featured on our HeritageApp with full credit to creators.
By submitting, you grant usage rights with full creator credit.
Registration
March 1 – March 28, 2026

March 7 – April 20, 2026
Equipment & Judging Criteria
Video quality or type of phone/camera used will not influence selection. Entries will be judged based on authenticity, creativity, and cultural storytelling.
Key Participation Rules
- Age: 18 years and above.
- Location: Must be resident in Nigeria.
- Language: Narratives in a Nigerian indigenous language (with English subtitles).
- Duration: Minimum of 60 seconds.
- Teams: Videos may be created by one (1) to a maximum of three (3) persons.
Video Submission Guidelines
- Code: Must be watermarked on video (top/bottom, left/right).
- Social: Follow @hoh_tv on TikTok and at least two (2) of our other official social media pages.
- Hashtags: #heritageofhonour2026 @hoh_tv #culturepreservation #[YourCode]
Selection & Opportunities
Top 10 entries qualify for the Empowerment Programme, including business support and professional filmmaking opportunities.
Note: Donation to HeritageApp is 100% voluntary. It does not influence judging.
